Dr. Shealy, our curriculum director at FPD, came by this week to share with our Wee Vikings his personal prayer hand. Each finger reminds us of what and how we need to pray. The thumb reminds us to tell God that we love him. The pointer finger tells us to tell God what we are sorry for. The middle finger is to remember to tell God what you are thankful for. The ring finger reminds us who we need to prayer for and the pinky finger reminds us to ask God for what we need. The children seemed to really grasp his concept and we will use it in our classroom. Thank you Dr.Shealy for sharing!
