Thank you Dr.Stokes for arranging the air evacuation helicopter team to visit FPD today. The kids were in awe as it landed and took off. Thank you for donating your time to share. It was awesome!
This week we learned that earthworms actually make the soil healthy for growing plants and vegetables. We had to examine them and then put them in our garden on our side yard. The children loved it, especially when they learned the earthworms could not bite them because they did not have teeth. It was very rewarding to see some of the hesitant ones finally hold them. They were so proud of themselves! Be Brave!
This week we are observing the signs of Spring! This week we are learning about caterpillars turning into butterflies, and birds laying eggs in their nest. Our world is full of beautiful things to watch. The children are ready to explore. If you find anything please share. We’d love to have it!
As Earth Day approaches we learned about trees, our Earth and how we can protect our planet. Mr.Spillers came and showed us some trees and how they cut wood and recycle it to make things Mrs Tara Spillers was Mrs.Allison’s substitute and showed us how to recycle magazines to make paper (pulp). It’s been a great week! Earth Day is Sunday, go plant a tree!😍
