100th day of school

Yesterday was our 100th day of school. We celebrated by counting to 100, making a 100 link paper chain, counting our snacks, exercising with 100 movements, stamping 100 stamps on a grid, 

trying to put 100 pegs in the light box and even looking at my grandmother that is 95 years old. We had a great day! 

Rainy day fun....

Journal Writing...

Today we started our in our writing journals. We will write in our journals several times a week.  We will draw with shapes to illustrate a certain theme.  Today we drew snowmen with circles.. They did awesome..

Whose that nibbling on my house?

This morning we decorated a real gingerbread house..

.. We are reading Hansel and Gretal this week.  Today we decorated Gingerbread Men cookies and made "lollipops"for our Gingerbread House! We used droppers with food coloring for a "tie dye" look so our fingers are a little   stained (oops).  Tomorrow we will read The Gingerbread Man and decorate a Gingerbread House..
