Teddy bear, teddy bear turn around..

We had a great teddy bear day! 

We "hibernated" under tables.

We lined up teddy bears from smallest to largest.

We graphed teddy Graham's. 

We painted "Corduroy".

We also read every version of "The Three Little Bears" we could find. It was a "beary" wonderful week!

Jelly Beadz fun!

Today we did a little experiment. I bought these jelly beads on Amazon for about $4

We put them in water overnight and when we came back this morning we had this :

The children could not wait to get their hands on them!  The skills we reinforced were counting, sorting, and fine motor skills. The teachers had fun with them too. They would be great in an Easter basket. The children were very good about not putting them in their mouths. Some were better than others about busting them. Ha!

Luke and Colbey worked really hard on this 100 piece puzzle today.  We were really proud of them.. 

Jim Dine.. Loves a heart.

Mrs Jaime introduced the children to an Artist named Jim Dine. He loved hearts and painted many colorful paintings centered around a heart.  Mrs Jaime instructed the children to use short strokes.  As you can tell, that was a learning process. 

What do you do when it's freezing outside?

  Play inside with "snow", otherwise known as shaving cream!

We are getting ready for 4K!

Today we cut upper case letters to match  lower case letters. Many of the children did it without any help!! Hooray!! 

I told the children we had to do "4K"work today and they were all in.. They were super proud of themselves and so were we!!
