Pumpkin Time

owls and other fall things

This month we have learned about bats, pumpkins, spiders and owls. Finally, it feels like Fall!!

 Thursday we went to the library with Mrs.Darnell to read about owls and then Mrs. Jaime, our art teacher, let us make owls out of clay.  She’s going to fire them so we can take them home. 

Pumpkins and Gardens

We’ve been busy enjoying our new season.. we planted broccoli, kale, carrots and lettuce.  If anyone has any plants for us we will happily take them. We are working on our gardens. We will continue our study of all things Fall and finally, it feels like it! Yeah!!

Apples Apples Apples

We’ve had a fun week celebrating the new season and the fruits and changes it brings. We even made delicious warm applesauce and ate it with ice cream! A delight to our senses.
